The Tripura High Court is the apex judicial authority in the state of Tripura, headquartered in Agartala. It was formally established on 23rd March 2013 under Section 28-A(c) of the North- Eastern Areas (Reorganization) Act, 1971. This marked a significant milestone, granting Tripura its own independent high court after decades under the jurisdiction of the Gauhati High Court.
